Instead of a recap of stuff that happened this year, I’m winding down 2012 by sharing some of my favorite portraits.Β Most of these I shot with Rebelle, my Canon XSi, which I bought second-hand last year. A few are from my now-defunct Panasonic DMC-TS10.
First, the Beaconites:

My Chicken Sandwich is easily one of the most photogenic people I know. Here she is trying to do an interview at her desk while I take a phone photo.

It pretty much just takes a Carib with lime to make Jason smile like this.

Beach buddy Eric at Smuggler’s Cove.

Dave at Long Bay West End. Miss you, bro.
Some of my beautiful friends:

The lovely Kira, hamming it up at work.

Ms. Lyne, keeping me company on a night out on Bellamy Cay.

My bff Pinky, behind the bar as usual.

My favorite Londoner Reuben getting ready for one of his beach runs.
Some from my assignments this year:

Reeka at the science fair. I cannot for the life of me remember what made her laugh so hard.

Mrs. Tom at the Crafts Alive Village working on one of her wire baskets.

From festival, one of the majorettes from the Baugher’s Bay/Purcell troupe.

The Guv, doing an inspection during the Queen’s Jubilee. A rare time I got to snap pics of officials smiling.
A couple from election 2011, which was basically my New Year 2012:

From the line at a polling place. I loved that people brought their kids with them to vote.

Made friends with this girl on the campaign trail. Since I always had my camera, she asked me to take her photo at an election event.
Finally my very favorite faces, the nephews, in screengrab form:

3-year-old LJ showing me one of his funny faces.

And little Linden, just three days old here.
Here’s to a happy and productive 2013, y’all!
