Yes, I felt it.
My first non-California earthquake.
It was magnitude 5.1 and about the epicenter was 54 kilometers away from here and about 25 miles deep, according to the Department of Disaster Management. They didn’t issue a tsunami bulletin.
My first thought when I felt the shaking was “earthquake” and my next thought was “or maybe it’s the cistern?” since the shower was in use. So, it wasn’t too scary and everyone is okay.
Update: The Beacon boys have vetoed my use of the earthquake as a new thing on grounds that I’m a Southern Californian, which means I’m now one day behind on new things. Hopefully I’ll manage two tomorrow!
