30 days of new

In 30 days, I’ll be 30 and I’m giving myself a super awesome gift: the 30 days of new project.

Some stuff will be work-related, like when I go on a marmalade-making assignment next week. Other stuff will be things I’ve been meaning to get around to for a while but haven’t for one reason or another, like kayaking. And since I can’t stop my normal life or spend much money, I’m giving myself some room on what counts as new. There will be new dishes, new drinks, new places and old things in a new place.

Basically, the only rules are that I have to do something that feels new to me every day, and that I have to document my project.

So before it gets dark, I have to go do my new thing for Day 1: ride a bike in Road Town.

I’m eager to hear what else I should do, so leave suggestions if you have them. Also, if you have a better name for this project, I want to hear that, too.

Update: I rode up and down Main Street without getting run down or crashing embarrassingly. Good times.
